Responsibilities:
1. Client Servicing
- Helping the relationship managers in day-to-day servicing of client requirements;
- Attending to incoming calls from clients in a prompt, efficient and professional manner, by either addressing the issues or channeling the client to the relevant personnel;
- Ensuring that the marketing desk is never left unattended during the normal working hours of the bank;
- Meeting select clients when they visit the Branch to help them with their requirements;
- Staying updated on product knowledge to facilitate transmission of information to clients;
- Dispatching research material to clients as per their requests and in accordance with compliance and legal guidelines;
- Supplying data on utilization of facilities and credit limits to clients/RMs from T24 and Credit Management
2. Administrative Responsibilities
- Helping the RMs in opening new client accounts, by preparing all documents, filling in application forms and liaising with the Operations Team, LCD and RMs/Client end;
- Follow up and monitor the onboarding process;
- Ensuring that all relevant documentation is received from the clients and sending the same to Operations Team;
- Helping clients and RMs seek additional facilities, credit lines, etc., in documentation and procedures;
- Assisting the RMs in maintaining communication with clients, drafting letters, etc.;
- Assisting the RMs in preparing exception requests on behalf of clients;
- Seeking RM/client instructions on their choice of corporate action (dividend, stock split, open-offer, etc.) alternatives;
- Maintaining details of client’s instructions, pricing policies, etc., for ready reference
3. System Support Assistance
- Training users on use of T24 and RM Portal as one of the designated “Superuser” on T24 platform and RM Portal;
- Helping the RM team use and understand the functioning of the T24 system and RM Portal;
- Working with the IT team for streamlining and enhancing systems functioning;
- Being part of the team performing Disaster Recovery Drill;
- Instruct Formalities to update T24 when a new account in opened and initiating the process for modifying the information as and when required
4. Compliance
- Properly document the instances of losses, errors, operational problems, etc., and follow the internal reporting guidelines;
- Following up with RMs and clients on all compliance and documentation related issues;
- Monitoring the cash position of client accounts to ensure that adequate liquidity is available to meet pending liabilities
5. Reporting MIS
- Supplying the Market Leader and RMs with necessary data and information from T24 system as per their requirements;
- Providing client related data to the Market Leader from the T24 system;
- Supplying clients with customized accounts statements and valuation reports, on an ad-hoc or regular basis, which are no readily available in the system
Qualifications:
- University graduate with a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Outstanding client-oriented mentality and pro-active team player
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Diligent, careful and ability to work in a fast moving environment
- Good command of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of IRESS and Bloomberg will be seen as a great advantage
