Assistant Site Manager Job in Brackenridge 15014, Pennsylvania US
The position requires a detail oriented, organized individual with experience in office and construction site environments. Familiar with supplier follow up, shipment coordination, warehouse activities in a construction site environment.
· Familiar with interfacing with vendors, contractors, other company offices and, in some cases, with the customer
· Comfortable with office and site environment
· Used to taking “ownership” of the work assigned and make decisions.

· Able to manage multiple tasks while adhering to strict deadlines
· Able to work collaboratively with employees of all levels within the organization

· Technical knowledge to be able to identify parts on site
· A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
· Adept at using Microsoft Suite, including Word and Excel
· Available to travel when required
· Bachelor’s degree
· 5-7 years of experience
· Excelent written and verbal communication skills
Description
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Contact suppliers for delivery follow up and prepare shipments
· Visit suppliers for follow up and to prepare shipment to the site
· Instruct and coordinate suppliers about shipment schedule
· Verify material upon arrival on site for conformity with Bill of Materials
· Identify damages and coordinate with suppliers/insurance company for replacement/repair
· Participate in daily meeting with the installation company, customer and site manager to define the shipment schedule according to site needs
· Able to read, understand and interpret specifications, engineering drawings, purchase orders when required
· Solve discrepancies and disagreements with vendors
· Position respond to the site manager
· Purchasing experience is desirable
