- Cleanliness and organization of warehouse.
- Assists Store Manager with daily responsibilities as directed.
- Responsible for contributing to store achievement of sales goals.
- Demonstrate salesmanship skills.
- Accurately write up product/job orders/maintain orders.
- Excellent product knowledge.
- Assists in merchandising the store under the direction of the SM and ASM1.
- Maintains sales floor cleanliness.
- Answers phones.
- Sets up deliveries.
- Follows up on open order report as directed by the Store Manager.
- In absence of Store Manager and ASM’s, responsible for all financial transactions and in charge of the store.
- Develop skill level to be promotable to an ASM 1.
- Prepares orders for shipment/pickup by customers.
- Keeps trim area neat and organized.
- Keeps showroom clean and organized.
- Complies with OSHA requirements.
- Requires working full time shifts as needed to maximize the business and development of the staff including nights and weekends.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Leads by example in following Company Code of Business Conduct (Ethics) and other policies and procedures.
- Ability to multi-task in high volume environment.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to learn product knowledge and installation knowledge. Ability to convey knowledge to customers and associates.
- Organizational skills.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Conduct routine audits; take corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
- May train other store associates.
- May work in other stores to fill staffing shortages.
- Special projects as assigned.
