Assistant Store Manager

Job Description

 

Responsible for day-to-day supervision; including operations, customer service and employee management necessary to provide full service, fully functional stores.  Additional tasks may be assigned as necessary.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

§         Ensure reports are properly completed daily, and variances are noted and researched

§         Train operational functions, i.e.:  computers, inventory and equipment

§         Train corporate policies and procedures

§         Provide leadership to store employees, including coaching for improvement

§         Keep track of attendance records and timecards

§         Ensures timecards are delivered to corporate on a bi-weekly basis

§         Prepare initial employee evaluation forms for clerks

§         Conduct inspections

§         Work one (1) shift per store/per week, and as needed

 

Qualifications

 

§         High School Diploma, or equivalent

§         At least two (2) years of relevant work experience

§         Previous supervisor experience including:

o        Payroll

o        Scheduling

o        Inventory

o        Hiring/terminating

§         At least 21 years of age

§         Two (2) years money handling experience

§         Reliable transportation

§         Valid Nevada Driver’s License

§         Current, clean DMV printout

§         Proof of insurance

 

Occupational Standards

 

§         Ability to stand for long periods

§         Ability to bend and lift up 25 lbs. as needed

§         Ability to be flexible with hours

§         Excellent communication skills

§         Proficient in basic PC skills, i.e.:  Microsoft Office
