Duties:

The assistant store manager is responsible in assisting the store manager in their administrative duties as well as promoting sales.

The assistant store manager will greet customers, counsel them on their options and prepare sketches that will help the customer visualize how the furniture will look in their home space.  

Will help customers by providing information; answering questions; obtaining merchandise requested; completing payment transactions and following up on orders.

Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards

Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.

Train store staff by reviewing and revising orientation to products and sales training materials; delivering training sessions; reviewing staff job results and learning needs with retail store manager; developing and implementing new product training.

Attracts customers by following display suggestions or schedules; producing merchandise displays on sales floor.
