The Assistant Store Manager manages day-to-day operations of all front-end and pricing functions to meet all operational and merchandising objectives. Manages Customer Service Supervisor, Price Accuracy Supervisor and teammates to ensure a high quality store experience for customers through exceptional teammate performance. Models ShopKo's commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Maximizes store objectives of sales, profit and exceptional customer service through effective implementation and execution of Company's Human Resources policies and initiatives. Recruits, screens applicants and ensures training is completed to create a positive teammate experience and a positive experience for customers.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years progressive leadership in a retail setting. Desired candidates will have working knowledge of checkstand, cash office, and customer service desk and price accuracy functions in a big box retail environment.
