Assistant Trader recruitment
The group is a proprietary trading firm focused on market making in exchange-listed products. Our strength lies in seeking arbitrage opportunities in a broad array of financial securities. Extensive experience in trading combined with sophisticated modeling and cutting-edge technology enables us to actively trade in markets around the globe.
Responsibilities:
- Support traders in any capacity required such as position checking, error reconciliation, and stock borrowing.
- Check pricing models, research product information, analyze data, monitor news.
- Liaise with back office and counterparties on trade booking and settlement issues.
- Fulfill exchange reporting requirements.
Requirements:
- Degree in engineering, math, computer science, finance, or economics.
- Very solid quantitative and analytical skills.
- Strong software/programming skills (Excel, VBA, etc).
- A team player with the ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
- Prior experience on a trading desk is preferred but not required.
- Must have a superb command of English.
