ASSISTANT TREASURER
ARI (Automotive Resources International), a billion-dollar fleet leasing and management company, headquartered in Mt. Laurel, NJ has an outstanding opportunity for a mature, experienced professional with unique and diverse financial and analytical, managerial and leadership skills. Reporting to the Treasurer and interacting with both US and international business departments, especially, accounting, credit, receivables, payables, systems and audit, you will be a senior leader for the company’s centralized global capital, cash and interest rate/currency exchange management.
Essential Functions:
§ Create, maintain and manage bank and investor relationships
§ Negotiate financing terms and conditions
§ Document transactions
§ Identify and monitor risks, implement controls, oversee audits
§ Oversee daily cash settlements; develop short term and long term cash flow forecasting
§ Evaluate, develop, implement and manage treasury process improvements, metrics and reporting
§ Work with US and international business units – controllers, cash managers, treasury analysts
o Daily cash positions
o Effective liquidity management
o Forecasting and budgeting
o Develop repatriation mechanics
§ Develop and maintain strategies for interest rate and foreign exchange exposures and controls
§ Provide analysis of compliance and debt covenants
§ Oversee treasury manager/analysts
Knowledge and Skills:
§ BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or closely related field; MS or MBA preferred
§ 15+ years experience, encompassing most or all of the following:
o Secured lending, structured finance; working capital lines of credit
o Debt capital markets, syndicated and corporate finance
o Negotiating and documenting terms and conditions
o Daily cash operations or forecasting
o Reporting, compliance, audit
o Interest rate/foreign exchange management
§ Strong analytical, financial and systems skills
§ Global business environment in financial or service industry
§ Strong managerial; excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
