Assistant Treasurer
Well established Chicago bank-owned international futures, equities, and options clearing brokerage firm is looking for an Assistant Treasurer to manage the Stock Loan operations.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Manage the Stock Loan operations
- Supervise a staff of 3
- Responsible for collateral management at all exchanges
- Oversee all daily exchange settlements and interaction with exchanges
- Prepare management reports forecasting performance, both internally and for headquarters
- Responsible for cash management and financing needs for daily business of the firm
- Predict cash flow and determine borrowing needs
- Monitor regulatory oversight and compliance with regulation SHO
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of work experience in accounting or treasury
- Stock loan experience
- Futures cash management experience
- Cash and treasury management experience
- Regulatory knowledge of futures and equities, a plus
- Strong excel experience
