Amazing opportunity to support young people to develop healthy and productive attitudes and behaviours to education and work by organising and delivering activity based and motivational learning sessions which demonstrate to young people what they "can do". To support young people in the achievement of additional qualifications which demonstrate and validate their newly acquired skills.
Well developed ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, especially teenagers and their teachers/parents.
Experience of working with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds including those with behavioural problems
Must be a good team worker and demonstrate the ability to develop team members.
Must have patience and empathy with young people who may be in particularly difficult family/social environments
Experience of working with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds including those with behavioural problems
Sports coaching experience (preferably qualified to UKCC Level 2)
Teaching/lecturing experience desirable
PTLLS qualification as a minimum.
Must have own transport and be able to transport equipment to venues.
