Our IBG - Corporate Investment Banking is responsible for driving core advisory relationships to corporate customers across a range of industries. These include telecommunications, media and technology; real estate; energy, chemical and infrastructure; shipping and aviation; financial institutions; manufacturing; multi-industries and commerce and the public sector.
We also have a team that raises debt capital for our customers in the international syndicated loan market. This involves originating, structuring, underwriting, executing and syndicating a wide variety of capital-raising transactions across Asia.
Responsibilities
- Assist the head in formulating regional policy guidelines and driving adherence to these guidelines
- Work with credit counterparts to establish credit loan procedures workflows, implement credit policy guidelines and design credit process training
- Work with business and support partners to establish, review and update workflows and processes in line with industry best practices
- Participate in regional or cross-functional / department initiatives as IBG representative and execute according to plans and timeline
- Drive process automation in credit and loan processes to promote greater business efficiency, staff effectiveness and better customer servicing
Requirements
- Candidate should possess a good University Degree, with at least 5 years’ relevant work experience in corporate banking, preferably with a good knowledge of Basel capital framework and credit processes and workflows
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with excellent problem-solving ability
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Mature and dynamic
- Good PC skills in MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
