Assistant Vice President, Corporate Treasury – Structural Portfolio Management, Group Finance recruitment

Group Finance is responsible for the production of relevant, timely and accurate statutory, financial and management information as well as insightful analysis of business, product and customer profitability to support decision making and generation of shareholder value. The team also provides capital management, business planning, forecasting, tax and accounting advisory services to our businesses.
Responsibilities
- Provide data and analytical support for seniors to review, assess and formulate strategies to manage the group’s structural interest rates (SIR) and foreign exchange (SFX) risks
- Liaise with Finance to be kept updated on new accounting standards or rules amendments to assess implication on SIR and SFX hedging
- Liaise with Capital team on capital planning for SFX hedging assessment
- Good understanding of capital for assessing RWA and ROE impact
- Support issues which may arise from monthly foreign currency PL sell down in the Singapore books
- Work with Risk Management and Product Controllers to set up Murex portfolios and risk limits; daily sign-off of the reported PL in Murex
- Prepare presentation materials to periodically update senior management on the structural exposures, macro economic risks and performance
- Participate in infrastructural projects geared towards building an analytical platform for analyzing and management of structural exposures
Requirements
- A good Degree in Accountancy or Financial Analysis from a recognized University
- More than 4 years’ prior relevant experience either from Treasury Accounting, Treasury Audit or Market Risk
- Strong knowledge in Group Accounts an advantage
- Able to work and analyze large volume of data; macro and database skills a strong advantage
- Proficient in MS Office applications including strong powerpoint skills
- CFA or FRM certification would be an advantage
- Possess strong written, communication and inter-personal skills to effectively convey ideas and concepts
- Possess a drive to excel
