Job Description

Experience in managing Financial Institutions (FI) portfolio for Singapore covering all bank / non bank / sovereign, counterparties. Familiarity with SE Asia countries and FI counterparties will be an added advantage.

Engage and collaborate with business units viz. FI corporate banking, Global markets, Global Treasury Services etc in Singapore office to screen and underwrite new / existing client exposures, consistent with bank's risk policies.

Proactively manage / monitor FI portfolio to ensure portfolio stability and corrective credit actions taken, in consultation with senior FI credit risk officers and consistent with bank's risk priorities.

Communicate / escalate key issues on Singapore FI portfolio, Advise / recommend credit actions to bank's senior risk officers on an ongoing basis. Periodic portfolio reviews with senior risk managers. Coordination with local / regional support groups (ops, treasury, finance middle / back offices, credit admin etc) to ensure exposures are booked / reported appropriately.
Requirements
- Minimum 6-8 years with relevant background.
- Eligible candidate to have prior experience (preferably with an US / European bank) in managing / underwriting FI risk / counterparties covering trading limits, loan and trade finance exposure and have good understanding of derivatives / traded products, trade finance and loan products.
- M.B.A. (Finance), CA or masters in finance from recognized university
