Description Assistant Vice President, Field Learning and Development This corporate-based position supports and monitors the implementation of Human Resources programs and processes to ensure the most effective utilization of human capital needed to maximize business performance in the T.J. Maxx and Marshalls field regions. The AVP, Field Learning and Development influences the alignment of HR and Operations by partnering with Field Management to execute strategic HR initiatives and day to day HR practices . Through solid understanding of the business is able to identify opportunities for improved HR function. The role also monitors the successful execution of LD strategies, Organizational Effectiveness, Succession Planning, for the regions and zones. RESPONSIBILITIES: Advise the Field HR and Operations Executives by providing strategic HR guidance for the regions. Communicate HR vision/strategy to the regions. Monitors the Succession Planning process. Supports the Talent Management/Review process. Select, develop, coach corporate direct reports and field indirect reports. 10 years Human Resources Generalist experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a management/leadership role. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to build alliances and influence decisions at all levels of the organization. Superior communication skills. Must enjoy working in a fast-paced, changing environment. Previous retail experience is strongly preferred. Bachelors Degree What's In It For You?
