Job Description
- Underwriting new and existing credit requests for credit approval within the Corporate Finance group at IDB.
- Analyzing historical financial statements to determine business trends, margin analysis, cash flow coverage and leverage.
- Developing financial projection models and sensitivity analyses.
- Processing of amendments, renewals and waivers for existing customers for credit approval, updating internal reports using borrowing base certificates and financial statements, analyzing business trends, reviewing risk ratings, completing annual reviews and reporting on borrowing activity to Group Head.
- Managing 10 to 20 borrowing accounts within the group.
Minimum Qualifications
- Exceptionally strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Advanced mastery of Microsoft Word and Excel with working knowledge of PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and an ability to work effectively in a small tight-knit team work environment.
- Ability to make effective decisions by analyzing and prioritizing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 2 to 5 years of banking experience in a corporate or middle market banking environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics.
