Job Description
- Responsible for L2 / L3 support of Domain UNIX systems - Redhat Linux, AIX and Solaris for production and lower level environments. Unix Operating system SME.
- Responsible for all software and hardware break fix activities, problem analysis, incident restoral and resolution.
- Actively engage in Vendor support, triaging, escalation and remediation.
- Complete assigned deliverables in a timely manner.
- Adhere and comply with change control policies and practices, Incident Management Process, working knowledge of relevant tools (Preferably Maximo).
- Extensive working experience of production break fix support in a global environment.
- Able to work closely with both on/off shore resources to resolve production operational issues.
- As a seasoned technical resource, will be expected to manage projects and collaborate activities of sub team related to initiatives and operations.
- Provide technical knowledge and capabilities as a member of a project team or as an individual contributor.
- Work under minimal supervision, with general guidance from manager.
