HSS is split into three divisions, namely, Fund Services, Custody (CNC) and CTLA (Corporate Trust Loan Agency)

Principal Accountabilities

Reporting into Head of Client Services Implementation, the incumbent will be required to project manage a new fund/client take on and to implement a new fund/client within scope, time and budget. This involves, reviewing fund documents to prepare accurate Point Summary for fund set up, working with operation teams in Service Delivery and Transfer Agency to ensure proper delivery, follow up with legal and clients to resolve any outstanding issues. Preparation also includes working with Service Delivery to open the securities and cash accounts, and working with Client Services to prepare and send accurate Operating Memorandum to clients.

• Assist to provide strategic input to grow the business, improve efficiency and mitigate risks

• To project manage the whole implementation process from fund documents review to actual fund launched by client services

• Prepare periodically report to management and project team.

• Review documents received ensuring compliance to the New Business Acceptance Procedure

• Identify new risks areas not cover by existing procedures, make recommendation and implement new steps to mitigate risks

• Evaluate and sign off that all new funds meet our due diligence tests

• Prepare periodically reporting to management and project team

• Ensure fund documentation is consistent with our operational activities

• To act as an effective bridge between legal and our clients to ensure agreements are reached

• Prepare accurate Point Summary to enable proper client set up and delivery

• Prepare Implementation plans in time and ensure execution of same

• Ensure compliance with legislation, trust deed, policy and procedures

• Resolve complaint, error and concerns and ensure non recurrence, develop and motivate staff/ team mates

Skills/Attributes Required

• University Graduate with 8 – 10 years of relevant experience

• Strong operational experience is highly preferable;

• Strong interpersonal and project management skills coupled with excellent client facing and negotiation skill;

• Ability to provide professional guidelines and advice to clients on operational issues of unit trust business;

• Excellent written / oral communication skills with problem solving attitude and client focus;

• Sharp Analytical skills to enhance procedures and controls;

• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines;

• Willing to change and be proactive to drive change;

• High integrity and professionalism
