Assistant Vice President – Operational Due Diligence – Singapore recruitment
In this role, the person will conduct in-depth investigation into the operational aspect of alternative investment firms which the company has relationships with. He/she will be tasked with monitoring manager’s compliance procedures and the adequacy of their internal controls. The person will provide key information in the manager’s financial status, risk, leverage, operations and other relevant internal information to help assess sound investments for the firm.
Ideal candidate should have strong understanding on the internal control and operational flow of financial service companies. The person should have at least 4 years of experience working in an auditing, internal auditing, or accounting position in a financial company or at a public accounting firm. Someone with experience in the alternative investment management industry will be preferred. He/she should also be very detail oriented and strive to ensure the quality of the auditing procedure. Additional qualification such as CFA or FRM would be desired.
