Job Description
ECA Program Compliance (EPC) employees lead the review of Export Credit Agency (ECA) and Multilateral Institution (MLI) guarantee/policy documentation to ensure understanding of guarantee/policy and program requirements and confirm compliance. Partner closely with Product, Operations and Agency Management (as applicable) partners to ensure appropriate lines of communication are established and maintained to appropriately respond to any ECA/MLI notification or claim. Develop ECA/MLI agency and product expertise. Responsible for delivering accurate responsive and excellent service to Internal and External Partners.
Examples of EPC responsibilities:
• Understand the pertinent program and documentation relative to each program, product and facility
• Assist the marketing officers in the review and structure of the deal to include ongoing communication with specific ECA
• Continuous review of transaction steps and documentation submitted in support of each transaction to ensure full program compliance
• Coordinate directly or indirectly receipt of all ECA related forms
• Prepare specific program written concurrence to the appropriate internal teams and ECAs
• Monitor utilization and expected portfolio activity under each program
• Maintain all ECA documentation to include master agreements and specific transaction documents
• Communicate defaults and prepare claim under guarantee, with full historical activity and program compliance monitoring recap. Guarantee will be nullified if BofAML is unable to produce evidence of full program compliance
Requirements
Minimum Skill Requirements:
1. Previous ECA/MLI experience preferable.
2. Ability to read, interpret and understand legal documentation.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Technically proficient (use of Word, Excel, Outlook) and effective use of technology and reporting tools and capabilities.
5. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Strong ability to influence, collaborate and coordinate activities where EPC concurrence and input is required.
