Assistant Vice President, Product Control (Interest Rates), Group Finance recruitment

Group Finance is responsible for the production of relevant, timely and accurate statutory, financial and management information; as well as insightful analysis of business, product and customer profitability to support decision making and generation of shareholder value. The team also provides capital management, business planning, forecasting, tax and accounting advisory services to our businesses.
Responsibilities
- Daily PL report production and analysis (both revaluation and sensi-based approaches)
- AFS (available for sale) portfolio reporting
- Daily monitoring of Off Market Rate transaction
- Daily monitoring of Stale Rates
- Monthly management PL vs GL reconciliation
- Monthly GLAO certification
- Monthly reserves computation
- Provide daily / monthly commentaries on the PL reported to Management
- Continuously streamline workflow to enhance operational efficiency within the team to provide satisfactory support to TM team
- Handle queries from Front Office / Risk Management Group (RMG) / TMO / Finance
- Actively participate in systems (Murex, iWork, OMC, etc) implementation / enhancement projects UAT testing
- Enhance interaction with FO to better understand trading activities and strategies
- Provide guidance / training to junior staff on BAU tasks / issues
- Cross train to cover the PC roles across the full spectrum of financial markets trading activities of Treasury Markets (TM)
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in Vanilla interest Rate derivatives (including option products like vanilla cap / floor and swaption) product control role
- Knowledge of treasury products accounting
- Familiar with pricing / valuation issues
- Good controls mindset
