The Department
The Global Commercial Group establishes, maintains and manages the business and pricing relationships with Moody’s rated entities and issuers of debt securities.
The department provides the service for banking institutions, corporations, municipal governments, public institutions, structured finance products and municipal funds
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead customer calling on sensitive issuers in EMEA region
- Working with the global team, collect and analyse plans for price increases
- Research pricing and cross selling opportunities
- Communication of all decisions made by the Pricing Committee to the Global Commercial Group
- Assist Team in coordinating price implementation strategies across the Global Commercial Group
- Prepare monthly communication of strategic issues and successes
- Prepare quarterly reports on Issuer Feedback and Exceptions
- Design and implement procedures for pricing led processes across Global Group
- Ad hoc projects
Requirements
- Bachelors degree required, preferably in related field (Economics, Finance, Accounting)
- Substantial work experience in finance industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation and persuasive skills
- Strong time management skills with ability to handle multiple projects in order to meet tight deadlines
- Organised and efficient with a pro-active, ‘can-do’ attitude
- Strong IT skills including MS office, advanced Excel skills preferred and Power Point
- Strong sense of team-working
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Fluent in English is essential
