Job Description
Quality Assurance Client Control (QACC) supports Global Banking and Global Markets in meeting certain requirements of the Anti-Money Laundering Economics Sanctions Policy and the Anti-Money Laundering Program.
Part of CIP Monitoring, QACC has 15 associates across all 3 regions. The Asia QACC team consists of 3 associates (including this vacant position).
QACC is heavily involved in the rollout of the Legal Entity On-boarding (LEO) system, which includes UAT testing, communicating with other teams on the future process flows, updating the QACC procedures, etc.
The successful candidate will be part of the Asia QACC team and key responsibilities include:
· Review and validate clients' KYC information to ensure completeness and reasonability
· Generate and distribute defects reports on findings during the review
· Track and follow up on remediation of defects
· Provide data for dashboard reporting and prepare ad hoc reports as required by the business
· Participate in project related tasks such as UAT testing
· Work together with the business and other AML supporting teams on AML related matters
· Connect occasionally with the US team via night calls
Requirements
Requirements:
· University graduates with a minimum of 5 years of Asia Compliance/AML experiences in the financial industry
· Have solid knowledge on the regulations related to money laundering
· Good communication and analytical skills, and able to liaise effectively and independently with the business and the supporting teams
· Detailed minded, and adapt quickly to the ongoing changes in regulations and internal procedures
· An efficient and proactive team player, willing to share the team's workload if necessary
· Excellent command in both written and spoken English and Cantonese
· Proficient in MS Excel
