Assistant Vice President to Investment Firm- DOE recruitment
The Assistant Vice President will be involved in all aspects of our client’s business, but will primarily focus on asset management. The ideal candidate will have a proven longevity in Real Estate Private Equity, strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, writing, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the team to execute business plans
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis/modeling, including discounted cash flows, asset valuations, and cost-benefit calculations
- Review and modify abstract legal documents, including leases, loan agreements, partnership documents and management agreements
- Assist in preparation of investor reporting, including quarterly updates and responding to specific investor requests
- Monitor and approve capital activity for assigned assets
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree from top tier school required, MBA or MRED preferred
• 4-7 years of Real Estate experience required
• Experience in real estate financial modeling and underwriting
• Understanding of real estate transactional and closings, as well as general real estate fundamentals
• Desire to be a member of a close-knit team of professionals who work in a very collaborative environment
• Expertise in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in Argus is recommended but not required
