Job Description

The Manager for Equity Derivatives Trade Support will be responsible for supporting the Asia Pac Rim (APR) Equity Derivatives businesses. Reporting to the Director, key tasks will be split by products, markets and supporting functions, and will include;

Responsibilities

Functions Products

• Manage a team of nine team members covering Equity Derivatives for OTC Listed Products.

• Perform daily control checks; break management reporting, journal jira approvals

• Perform daily supervisory oversight, spot checks daily review of teams output to minimize manual errors.

• Track training plans and competency levels of the team.

• Ensure control framework is in place for processes, identify control gaps and ensure controls are implemented to close gaps.

• Scrutinize processes to identify issues within the process and review with senior management.

• Build forge relationships with the Front Office and Internal Clients.

• Manage team resources ensuring resource availability for UAT and staff absences

• Provide management with quarterly presentations on teams key achievements.

Requirements

Background:

We are seeking a dynamic candidate who is quantitative, analytical, proactive, a team player, able to work under pressure and to tight time constraints and has excellent attention to detail. This position requires daily liaison with many different groups across the organization and so, candidates must have a high level of communication and interpersonal skills. This is a trade support role and the candidate must demonstrate maturity and have a good understanding in the derivatives sales and trading flows. The ideal candidate will have at least 4-8 years of Middle Office experience preferably gained from working in an Investment Bank. Financial market knowledge and experience in derivatives products are essential. Experience in trade reconciliation and controls are a plus.

Essential Experience/Technical Knowledge:

•Proficiency in MS Product Suite i.e. Excel, Word etc

• Bloomberg and Reuters knowledge are a plus
