The AVP, Wealth Consulting/Relationship Manager will manage existing advisor relationships and assist the Regional Director in transitioning and implementing new relationships. The AVP will build the service platform to enhance the company’s offerings of wealth management, consulting and performance reporting services. He/she will focus on retention of current Advisors, increased revenue and scalability. The AVP is responsible for the supervision and leadership of a team, managing the overall productivity and output of all direct reports. He/she will manage employees related to performance planning, mentoring, coaching, career development and role development. The AVP will facilitate and lead training sessions for new Fortigent Advisors during the transition stage and will lead meetings and calls for Advisors on investment, reporting, practice management or industry issues. The AVP will oversee conversion of historical data, account on-boarding and initial setup of performance reports. He/she will provide support of software development projects and requirements-gathering for those projects. The AVP will provide business acumen to Fortigent Advisors and will demonstrate a mastery of portfolio operations, as well as mastery knowledge of investment analytics and performance reporting processes. He/she will formulate and apply data analysis and information used for decision making by management and will be responsible for managing internal projects for the Advisors from inception to delivery, including follow-up. The AVP will report and be reviewed by the Regional Director/s.
The AVP, Wealth Consulting/Relationship Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Set reasonable expectations with Advisors and manage the workflow of Fortigent Advisors.
- Accountable for overall productivity and output of all direct reports. Ensure information presented is accurate and delivered timely.
- Identify, maintain, and develop Advisor relationships including proactively soliciting feedback from Advisors on the service delivery or value proposition.
- Manage employees related to performance planning, mentoring, coaching, career development, and role development. Ability to pitch in and assist junior staff when necessary in completion of their day to day responsibilities.
- Responsible for assessing and escalating any potential Advisor risks to the Regional Director.
- Develop subject matter expertise in portfolio operations including, custodial and manager paperwork and portfolio implementation.
- Identify ways to enhance revenue, increase efficiency and improve the product offering.
- Facilitate and lead training sessions for Fortigent Advisors to educate users of content and interpretation of data.
- Lead process improvement initiatives. Monitor and enforce best practices and consistency with delivery tasks across the department.
- Successfully troubleshoot, and resolve challenges with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to assist and lead ad hoc requests from all levels for internal and external stakeholders.
- Devise and implement new methods to gather data, analyze, and report actionable information about existing business operations, the company’s competitive environment, customers, initiatives, and risks.
- Compile information from Fortigent Advisors relating to Advisor needs and strategy that can be shared within the Fortigent community.
- Develop, maintain, and manage Advisor relationships that result in high valued service and enhanced revenue opportunities.
- Provide value added and strategic insight to senior management and other stakeholders throughout the firm.
- Coordination with our Technical Development team and internal departments regarding project-driven tasks that will enhance internal efficiencies.
- Successfully develop internal relationships to effectively manage business.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will possess the following qualities:
- Show an expertise in portfolio construction, implementation, and investment management
- Direct investment Advisory experience with UHNW clients
- Have an extensive knowledge of performance measurement

Education and Experience
- Director investment Advisory experience with UHNW clients
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in finance, accounting or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years business experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and Word.
- Series 65 Registered.
- CIMA, CFA, or CFP preferred.
