Position summary
A London based Interwoven web developer is required to join a small development team, managing a number of global websites (using Autonomy Interwoven technology). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in web development; and should feel comfortable taking ownership of web based-projects. This role involves heavy interaction with multiple areas of the business and as such the candidate should have strong communication skills and be able to articulate themselves at all levels of the organization. A strong work ethic combined with a “can do” attitude is essential as the responsibilities involved in this role will evolve over time to help grow a team.
Duties accountabilities
- Expert level grasp of the broad range of Autonomy Interwoven software is required, particularly TeamSite 6.7.2 (7.x would be beneficial), MediaBin OpenDeploy and LiveSite 3.x+
- Expert level knowledge of a broad range of development skills including (X)HTML (Semantic HTML), XSLT, XML, CSS, JavaScript Frameworks (especially JQuery) and Java as well as a strong understanding of the latest trends in web technologies.
- Heavy experience with Autonomy Interwoven TeamSite CMS is essential, particularly in developing SitePublisher components for the LiveSite runtime environment.
- Demonstrable knowledge of W3C standards, concepts, practices and procedures that make up the Semantic Web
- Deep understanding of SEO techniques and how to implement recommendations from external experts and generate reports from Google Analytics
- Good understanding of Web 2.0 concepts
- Understanding of general Interwoven TeamSite development concepts and administration such as Workflow and Form development and user administration
- The ideal candidate will display a passion for web based marketing and employing the latest social media technology in a corporate environment
- Attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and creativity in problem-solving
- Ability to work in a team as well as being self-motivated and able to communicate in a clear way
- The role will require the candidate to do complex project work as well as day to day running of the platform. It is essential that the candidate is willing to be flexible and versatile.
