PRIMARY DUTIES:

'Take an advisory role with marketing, design, and other internal staff for assigned areas.
'Provide comprehensive research on assigned categories and special projects.
'Provide the consumer perspective through a combination of past and current research.
'Incorporate innovative research techniques to address specific corporate and category issues.
'Partner with colleagues in complementary departments for more comprehensive research.
'Direct the execution of projects by outside research suppliers.
'Oversee the identification and development of research stimulus materials.
'Integrate businesses practices that go beyond study level data analysis.
'Deliver presentations to management that are actionable and business focused.
'Some travel required.

SKILLS:

'Design and interpretation of research that surfaces motivations behind behavior
'Knowledge of research methodologies, statistics, and supporting computer skills.
'Experience with ethnography, qualitative research, concept screening, attitude and usage, persuasion testing, brand tracking, discrete choice, correspondence mapping, linear regression, factor and cluster analysis
'Creative problem solving.
'Excellent communication skills ' written, oral presentations.
'Ability to communicate within a network of internal customers and outside sources at all levels.
'High level of attention to detail, including organizational, analytical and mathematical skills.
'Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
'Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and SPSS.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

'Masters degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Psychology or Social Science.
'5-7 years related experience
'Exemplary attendance, work ethic and job performance.
