Assoc Mgr Network Engineering
Entry-level, trainee engineer working on a variety of routine engineering activities under close guidance and direction from more experienced engineers. This position provides support to the E911 Regulatory VCIDDB Project Manager and will focus on network programs, data accuracy standards, integrity, quality management, process design, methods and procedures associated with implementation of these initiatives. Works with VCIDDB Team to ensure network quality audits, tests and corrective procedures are coordinated throughout the assigned scope of responsibility along with all Corrective Action Findings (CAF's). Assists more experienced engineers and performs metrics gathering on networks under close direction. Performs engineering work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks. Should have an understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Creates VCIDDB process workflows by facilitating, ensuring adherence to deadlines, and communicating progress and results. Supports VCIDDB Project Team. Determines the root causes, metrics/measures of quality, cycle time etc; and make recommendations for solutions. Document new and past processes for optimal workflow and operational efficiencies. Typically reports into a Second Level Manager.Supervisory: NO This position may be responsible for contributing to ATT?s compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
