Associate – Mining & Metals Team recruitment
RBC Capital Markets, the full service global investment banking franchise of Royal Bank of Canada has grown its London based operations dramatically over the past two years. As a result of this success, we are looking to add an experienced Associate to our industry-leading Mining Metals practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Market and execute transactions within MA, ECM and other investment banking products
• Work in close cooperation with the mining teams in Toronto, Vancouver, New York, Sydney and Hong Kong
• Develop relationships with and generate revenue from international mining and metals companies
Competencies:
• In-depth knowledge of investment banking services and the ability to apply them creatively to diverse client needs
• Understanding of the mining industry, the key players, strategic dynamics as well as the principal technical factors impacting new and existing mining projects
• Sound judgment, particularly in valuation matters, with strong analytical skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Advanced computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Education and/or Experience:
• Degree level or better qualification
• Previous proven experience at a recognised investment bank
• FSA registered/Approved person
