Associate 1 – M&A – Top Tier International Investment Banking Boutique recruitment
The client is a middle market Investment Bank with a solid Corporate Finance business built up over generations. It is considered to be one of the city's more collegiate environments - a happy ship with excellent historic deal flow and a very strong pipeline. A place with very low staff turnover where success isn't measured in hours and reputations aren't built on politics.
They are looking to add an Associate 1 to their UK MA team to help with deal execution and origination. You will have either successfully completed your Analyst programme at an investment bank last summer (and your stub period) or come from a Big 4 accountancy MA practice.

The successful candidate will combine a pleasant personality with a real head for figures. 'Fit' is important. The role will encompass all the tasks you would expect; lots of modeling, pitching (less than in a Bulge Bracket bank), documentation, general execution tasks. You can expect genuine exposure to clients and perhaps more responsibilities - certainly no face time or endless weekends at work!
