Associate
The successful candidate will be able to design risk data dictionaries and implement a new reporting framework. In addition they will be able to support legacy tactical systems that are in Access/VBA/Excel until they phase out. Extensive interaction with the main IT department and Risk production teams.
Key Responsibilities of the Role
- Specify changes to IT
- Project plan changes
- Design data structures for Risk Reporting
- Implement new risk reporting in Business Objects or other delivery mechanism
- Support existing tactical applications in Access/VBA/Excel – investigate bugs/issues
- Support changes to tactical applications required for business requirements
- Plan migration of reporting from the tactical applications
- Ad-hoc projects as required
- Proactively contributing to wider Risk function initiatives and projects

- A strong understanding of risk metrics with the ability to implement strategic change
- Strong academics and relevant professional qualifications/accreditations with a strong numerical background

- Ability to manage large workloads and tight deadlines
- Flexibility to adapt to urgent tasks as well as undertaking longer term projects
