We are currently seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join us in our New York or Short Hills office.

As a Contract Compliance Services professional, youll help clients across a wide range of industries in identifying and recovering lost revenues and reducing costs in areas such as royalties, licensing, distribution agreements, conditional pricing arrangements, intellectual property protection, and more. We understand the complexities and nuances of a variety of business contracts, licensing agreements, and reporting processes and procedures. Our professionals have helped companies recover significant revenues misstated in self-reporting arrangements while maintaining and improving their relationships with customers, vendors, and business partners.

Responsibilities for both positions:
- Understand KPMGs practices/service offerings, identify opportunities for service offerings, and provide high quality service to clients; project a professional image of KPMG
- Provide high quality professional day-to-day execution of software licensing, vendor, and royalty audit engagements in addition to other types of third party reviews
- Analyze complex license agreements and identify contract issues
- Serve a variety of clients within multiple industries

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Associate:
- Provide leadership to Associates and draft reports for management review and document review results in work papers
- Provide leadership to Associates

Qualifications for both positions:
- One year of advisory experience in finance and/or internal or external audit experience or experience in reviewing a companys compliance with its software agreements
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university
- Experience with Software Asset Management (SAM) systems and Software/Royalty Licensing Audits
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to conduct meetings with clients and third parties in challenging surroundings
- Experience with data analysis techniques including tools like Excel, Access, and Sequel

Additional Qualifications for Senior Associate:
- Three years of advisory experience in finance and/or internal or external audit experience or experience in reviewing a companys compliance with its software agreements
- Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills; issue identification, prioritization, and resolution and report writing skills
- Ability to travel fifty percent of the time both domestically and internationally, and at times with relatively short notice
