Associate
Overview
A unique opportunity has arisen with a Tier 1 investment bank to gain exposure to the entire global traded portfolio across all asset classes. You will be sitting next to the traders, advising on hedging strategies capital optimization, whilst also working very closely with the FO quants to test new models.
The Role
- Support the desks, helping them look at new structured deals in terms of holistic advice, whether it is about modeling, hedging, RWA, operational problems or other.
- Work closely with the front office supporting efficient resource allocation (including RWA and Balance Sheet), trading risk and hard asset credit risk across the global traded portfolio
- Work closely with the quant teams, testing new models and performing statistical analysis
- Assisting desks with new trade pricing.
The Candidate
- Excellent academic background, educated to PhD level
- Ideally some experience within a front office environment, covering FX / IR / Equity products
- Ideally experience in a pricing capacity
