Current opportunity exists to work for a global investment bank within their Special Situations Group based in Sydney. Working directly for Senior Management in a small team environment you will interact closely with the wider team throughout the region and globally. Working as part of specific client and deal teams you will gain exposure to a broad range of transactions across distressed assets, special situations and loan products. On a daily basis you will required to assess and analyse financial information and take responsibility and ownership for managing relationships with both internal stakeholders and the external client base.
Successful applicants will have a minimum of 4 years experience working within an Investment Banking environment where they have gained exposure to financial modelling, valuations and credit, ideally with some exposure to distressed debt or special situations. A strong academic track record and the ability to work in a fast paced and deal driven environment is essential along with a confident and engaging communication style.
