Associate Account Director

Reporting to Account Director

Basic Salary: £25,000 OTE: £30,000

Job Description

 

The Associate Account Director is responsible for supporting the Account Director.  Part of this support requires the AAD to communicate and sell the company’s value proposition to existing and prospective accounts within a given industry vertical.  This includes remote support and product training.  This candidate must be able to consistently deliver on specific sales targets while building a sustainable relationship in large and complex organizations.  This candidate will be prepared to evolve into an Account Director in 18-24 months.

 

Essential Duties / Responsibilities within Assigned Region:

•     Full support of the Account Director

•     Develop and maintain awareness of all services and products

•     Provide telephone and online training in use of services

•     Prospect and qualify new client opportunities

•     Plan, design and help implement annual client specific programs with all current and potential users within current customer organization

•     Adhere to metrics for frequency of contact client

•     Submit timely and accurate activity reports via CRM tool

•     Coordinate prospecting activities with Sales Management

•     Coordinate activities with marketing programs and assist in program implementation where appropriate

•     Work effectively with other FocusVision departments in the development, implementation and creation of business building and value creating programs for current and new clients

 

Desired skills and experience

 

Experience:

•     2-5 years indirect B2B sales experience. Good inside sales experience

•     Experience with qualitative market research a plus

•     Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills

•     Demonstrated ability and comfort with achieving results via the phone sales activities

•     Organized self-starter

 

Critical Competencies:

•     Self-starter, motivated, can work independently, but very comfortable within team environment

•     Good written and oral skills and computer (MS Office, Excel) capability

•     Highly driven to succeed (burning desire to sell)

•     Proven track record of revenue achievement

•     A clear sense of urgency

•     Active listener who takes the time to understand the client’s business
