Associate Account Executive
Overview:
Agfa is a world leader in wide format printing and prepress solutions for the commercial, newspaper and packaging printing industries. Agfa Graphics has long been known and respected as a key player and has continued to grow and develop our wide format UV inkjet business printers and state-of-the-art printers. As a result of our strong products and growth in the wide format printing arena, we will be seeking to hire several junior level sales positions to focus on a key growth product area within our marketplace.
Agfa-Pitman is currently looking for an Associate Account Executive – Wide Format to join our team in the Ridgefield Park, NJ area.

Agfa seeks recent college graduates with a strong interest in sales, marketing and communications to apply and who preferably hold degrees with a MBA in Marketing or Sales.
Essential Responsibilities
- Participate in product, process and/or sales training in order to provide the best solutions to customers.
- Develop strong working relationships with specialists to support technical requirements of customers and prospects.
- Manage accounts in a way that achieves maximum customer satisfaction.
- Effectively communicate, network and coordinate activity with both internal and external customers.
- Sell our wide format equipment and services. This includes cold-calling, customer appointments and demos, and generating leads, etc.
Participate in Sales Team meetings as required. - Actively pursue new product knowledge by reading industry publications and updates as well as taking advantage of industry events and/or seminars.
- Participate in sales meetings.
- Complete proposals and quotations professionally and on a timely basis.
Responsible for updating all sales activity and contact information daily into a sales database program.
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree, MBA in Marketing or Sales preferred.
- 6 months of experience selling copiers and other office equipment
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable and well organized
- Ability to canvas and research new business opportunities
- The drive and ambition to be a successful contributor to the team and the company.
- Must hold a valid and current drivers license.
