The Role

The Associate Account Manager provides leverage for the global sales team in the Enterprise Risk Solutions within Moody’s Analytics.

At the core the Associate Account Manager role is a pro active sales role, primarily on the telephone and cold calling. Providing quality customer facing activity in a fast-paced environment. High activity rates are critical to success and you must be able to excel in a high-energy, team selling environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organizing meeting with prospects

• Support the sales process by qualifying prospects identified by sales

• Answering functional and technical queries of RFIs and RFPs

• Assisting Sales Consultants in responding to sales related queries

• Assisting sales agents, distributors and partners during the sales process

Qualifications/Experience

• Must be educated to degree level (or equivalent), preferably within a Finance or business related discipline.

• Good understanding of capital markets, especially the dynamics related to credit, lending and the bond markets

• Well-developed skills in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Good sales skills

• Excellent command of spoken and written English and fluency in a second European language is advantageous.

• Good team player

• Must be prepared to travel

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to work pro-actively, multi task and work to tight deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment.

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, yet integrate appropriately with the team and other areas within Moody’s.
