Associate Adviser – Commonwealth Financial Planning

The purpose of the Associate Financial Planner (Video Conferencing) is to provide the clients of Commonwealth Financial Planning with simple andaffordable financial advice, ensuring performance objectives are met including quality of advice, client service requirements, compliance and business growth and retention.
Reporting to the Financial Planning Manager, Video Conferencing, role accountabilities will include:
- Provide simple, personal financial advice strategies and service to mass market customers of CBA
- Recommending appropriate strategies, products and service options to the client
- Accountable for quality of advice providing compliant documentation
- Accountable for the quality of the relationship within the financial services team and the branch network
- Follow CBA guidelines regarding the contacting of existing clients
We are looking for candidates with the following attributes, skills and experience:
- RG146 compliant in the following generic and specialist areas, Generic Knowledge, Managed Investments, Life Insurance, Superannuation, Financial Planning and Skills
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline is desirable
- Proven performance in a financial planning, client relations or service oriented role
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders
- Previousexperience in Financial Services with a sound understanding of the industry
- Sound presentation skills. Previous delivery via Video Conference is advantageous;
- Ability to identify and understand client needs and respond in a timely, professional manner
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to engage clients in either, or both, a video or phone based interaction environment including excellent presentation skills (face to face, via video conference and over the phone);
- Motivated by providing excellent customer service
- An enthusiastic and genuine interest in the application of technology in the financial services industry and motivated to support its use in financial planning.
