Associate Agent/Insurance Sales Job in Greensburg 15601, Pennsylvania US

A local, independently owned Nationwide Insurance Agency is seeking candidates for the following position. 

ASSOCIATE AGENT

Responsible for sales activities, from lead generation through close. Assist in implementation of marketing plan to meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base. Works with the sales and customer support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with our company vision and values. 

 

Responsibilities 

·                     Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.  

·                     Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas of insurance industry. 

·                     Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.  

·                     Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments. 

·                     Any other tasks as assigned from time to time. 

·                     Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service. 

·                     Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements. 

·                     Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to their business and personal needs.  

·                     Maintains database of leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, direct mail, email, and networking. 

·                     Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities, including the use of technology to maintain accurate records to maximize potential. 

·                     Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team. 

·                     Participates in educational programs offered to maintain professional licensing 

 

 

Preferred Requirements 

·                     Self-starter with the ability to influence others. 

·                     Effective presentation skills through both verbal and written communications. 

·                     Must have or be willing to obtain PA Insurance License 

·                     Willing to train and license candidates with sales associate potential
