About our client
We are working with the Hedge Funds Solutions team of one of a leading global alternative asset manager. With over $35bn under management, they are the investor of choice for many of the largest and selective institutional clients including corporations, pension funds, central banks, SWF.
Responsibilities
- Support senior professionals in the efforts to grow their presence across Europe, taking particular focus on Germany
- You will act as secondary contact for leading relationships and over time you will take the initiative to strengthen and build other relationships
- Build detailed knowledge and understanding of their product range
- Assist in the preparation of marketing material, RFPs and addressing potential and existing clients requests in line with the expected standards and compliance requirements
- Interact with other team members to ensure delivery in a timely manner
Skills we’re looking for
- Strong academic background from a leading academic institution
- Experience in a sales support or product specialists role within a top tier asset management organisation or placement agents/ capital introduction teams or having worked within a capital markets sales team
- You will be fluent and ideally a native German speaker
- Knowledge of alternative investments would be preferable, particularly hedge funds
- Demonstrable ability to create sales and marketing materials to meet the needs of institutional investors
- Excellent communication, problem solving skills and ability to build long term relationships. You will be able to communicate complex investments and hedge fund related topics in a language suitable to the clients sophistication
- You will be energetic, have a positive, enthusiastic and results driven personality
- High level of professionalism, integrity and curiosity
- Ability to work within a team and liaise confidently with seniors and piers
