Associate / Associate Director, Metals & Mining (Project Finance) recruitment
Job Description
Technical assessment of projects, as well as marketing and origination, pricing and preparing presentations and pitches to clients and credit submissions in the area of Project Finance.
Key Roles Responsibilities
Candidates will be responsible across the whole life cycle of Project Financings, from marketing and origination through to structuring, pricing and preparing presentations to Credit. Vitally, candidates will be expected to undertake technical appraisal of mining opportunities; prioritising deals and assessing technical and economic risks of assets on as Asian basis.
Qualifications Skills
Candidates will be Geologists or Mining Engineers whose early career in the field has now been rounded to include commercial exposure to the financing and development of these assets either within a bank or the commercial or business development function of a mining business. Technical skills aside, candidates must be self-starters with the personality and drive to progress in a strong banking culture.
