Our client is a top-tier European Bank undergoing strategic expansion in the region. To cope with the fast-moving businesses in Asia, two newly created roles has arisen for a high-calibre Associate/AVP professional to join the Flow or Exotic Equity Derivatives Group.
Reporting to the Team Leader, your key duties will be to do trade capturing, review and document Exotic or Flow transactions/trades contracted by OTC Equity Derivatives. You will work on the trading floor and liaise with various teams to produce and distribute trade analysis reports and ensure that the trade representation in the risk management systems match with confirmations and trade settlements. Working within a team, you will assist in building and maintaining the infrastructure, reviewing current procedures and implementing new working methodologies to improve operational efficiency. This role will cover risk management, trading strategies, legal confirmations and transaction processing and provides large exposure to a diverse product range including structured trades, risk management, PL, confirmations and settlements.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- A university degree holder
- Minimum 4-6 years’ experience in Trade Support or Middle Office from investment banking background
- Must have strong Equity Derivatives product knowledge, candidate with Exotic or Flow background would be prioritise
- Strong computer programming skills in C++, VBA, Java, and Access are highly beneficial
- Pro-active and self-starter attitude
- Effective communication skills with fluency in English and Chinese
