(Associate / AVP) – Regulatory Controls – GLOBAL INVESTMENT BANK recruitment
Key Role Responsibilities Include:
• Preparation of financial statements and reporting packages under US GAAP and local GAAP
• Preparation of regulatory and statistical returns to external agencies and bodies
• Maintenance of the financial records
• Active involvement in improvements to control standards and general processes
• Liaison with other business areas, both in Singapore and other global locations
• Ad hoc projects
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
• Strong academic background
• Solid working knowledge of technical standards, in particular IFRS and/or US GAAP
• Accountancy qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred
• Understanding of financial products and the securities business
• Control focussed mind-set and ability to effectively prioritise workloads
• This role involves extensive interaction both across the business and externally so excellent written and verbal communications skills are important
