Our client is a major growing player in the Trade finance Asia market and due to continued growth and expansion they are looking for an experienced middle office Structured Trade finance Manager.
Working in a boutique environment to support the front office sales team this client facing role requires an individual with extensive pre-export knowledge as well as warehousing finance.
Key responsibilities include:-
- Ability to manage relationships with front office, external clients and back office.
- Ability to comprehend sales briefs and translate into deal processing guides.
- Management of collateral and stock positions/releases.
- Awareness of structured trade finance markets across the regional such as HK, Mainland China, Indonesia and India.
- Ability to understand risk issues faced by the middle office team and how to escalate these issues.
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of ICC publications and international procedures including global FX markets and general regulations governing the structured trade management space.
You must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role with exposure to at least two of the regional markets listed above. A self-motivated individual with the ability to step up when the manager is away is crucial.
