Associate Brand Manager Job in San Francisco, California Us
Broad Function and Scope of the Position:
The Associate Brand Manager is responsible for developing and implementing business building marketing programs and conducting ongoing business analysis which meet or exceed volume, share and profit goals on assigned products.
Principal Responsibilities:
* Analyze, forecast, and budget volume and pricing for the annual operating plan and mid year adjustments to the plan.
* Develop and execute creative strategies and consumer communication and promotion programs.
* Recommend and assist in the development of new product ideas and product improvements.
* Analyze business results and consumption trends and communicate recommendations.
* Manage marketing spending to ensure spending is within budget and properly tracked.
* Work with Trade Promotion to evaluate trade spending opportunities and sales materials.
Qualifications:
* MBA in Marketing required
* 3-5 years relevant work experience with a background in consumer packaged goods preferred.
* Excellent verbal and written communication
skills
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office programs,
advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Ability to lead/influence cross-functional
teams
* Ability to take initiative, to work well both
autonomously and as part of a team
