Job Description Employment Category: Temporary Job Summary We are seeking an associate business analyst candidate to support the AECOM Corporate IT AIMS Team in Los Angeles, California. Successful candidate will be both an independent worker who demonstrates a high level of initiative and someone who can work collaboratively as part of a large and dynamic team. Responsibilities Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Works as a utility team player to assist the PMO Lead on all aspects of project management for any given project - workplan creation, task assignment status tracking, issues tracking, and meeting and events coordination. - Prepares materials needed by management or team for conferences, correspondence, appointments, meetings, teleconference calls, etc. - Assists on a variety of low level systems related tasks - e.g., configuration, testing, documentation development, training, etc. - Assist in the preparation of training materials, communiqués, various presentations and system documentation. - Works independently, assumes leadership in support of group / staff assigned. - Uses judgment and initiative to determine the approach or action to take in non-routine situations. Requirements for Position: - Any related experience in finance, accounting, or computer-related fields is desirable. - Ability to work cooperatively with others. - Good analytical skills and ability to learn quickly - Persistence and a strong task orientation balanced with excellent teamwork, listening skills and diplomacy. - Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment with a sense of urgency. - Ability to develop structure and processes. - Strong written and oral communications skills. - Solid problem-solving ability. - Strong organizational skills - ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Ability to be resourceful and work independently. - High proficiency in Microsoft productivity tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio). - Bachelors degree, University level preferred.
