Associate - Business Analyst - Investment Banking - Derivatives
This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate level candidate with business analysis/projects experience to join the banks Derivatives Project Group (DPG). The successful candidate will be working across multiple Change The Bank (CTB) projects and have an opportunity to get involved throughout the project lifecycle.
DPG is an Operations-based business analysis and project/program management team who partners with Operations, IT, Finance and the Business Units to:
Manage the delivery of technology and processes necessary to support the OTC Derivatives business;
Assist in the definition and execution of the future vision for Operations (processes, organisational models etc.)
Skills Required
- Proven business analysis experience, ideally with a focus on derivatives products.
- The successful candidate will also be comfortable working with some degrees of ambiguity and escalating project/process issues as necessary.
- Ensuring that thorough business analysis is performed and accurate detailed business requirements are developed with the support of the appropriate Operations resources.
- Developing strong relationships with IT colleagues to design, develop and implement technology platforms to deliver solutions to these business requirements.
- Developing comprehensive and robust test cases/plans and co-ordinating the execution of these tests to ensure successful delivery of these technology platforms.
- Working with other DPG teams to develop best practice methodologies and approaches for business analysis, for delivery of technology, and process solutions to business problems.
