Dailysteals.com is a premier Daily Deal Site that specializes in consumer products. We offer one product per day in five exciting categories – Homepage, Mobile, Home, Luxury and Toys.  


We are looking to hire an experienced Consumer Products Buyer to assist in locating, negotiating, and purchasing consumer electronics, gadgets, home goods, luxury items and toys.

Candidate's primary responsibilities will be assisting the Senior Buyer in planning, researching, negotiating and purchasing deals. Candidate will be responsible to contact vendors and suppliers, negotiate terms and arrange shipment. Candidate should be comfortable working in a very fast paced work environment.

Prior experience should prepare you to be able to call on contacts, negotiate price, secure logistics and follow up with vendors and suppliers (Cold and warm calling may on occasion be necessary).

Candidate should also have some experience in merchandising. Candidate should have experience in determining "Deal" pricing, quantity and promotion. We are looking for someone that understands the anatomy of a deal, someone that lives and breathes deals. Candidates with secondary market experience -- Closeouts or Refurbished preferred. 


This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a combination of strong retail, customer service, and negotiation experience. Compensation is market competitive with a solid base salary and commissions.

Qualifications


    * 3-5 years of relevant experience in Buying

    * 1-2 years of retail/ e-commerce merchandising

    * Experience with consumer products sales

    * Candidates with live industry contacts preferred

   * Experience dealing  with major manufacturers a must!

    * Bachelors degree a plus

    * Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills

    * Internet Navigational Skills

    * Proven Negotiation Skills

    * Personable attitude with a great work ethic
