About our client
A leading global real estate fund, with US $52.1 billion of gross assets under management, seeks an associate to join the Capital Markets Group of its Latin American operations. The position is located in Mexico City. The Latin American business—with gross assets under management of US$3.6 billion—manages funds specializing in industrial, residential and retail properties in Mexico and has transaction capabilities in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Chile.
Responsibilities
- Structure, negotiate and manage credit lines with various creditors
- Cultivate and manage relations with commercial investment banks and other financial institutions
- Pro-actively manage lines of credit and liquidity of the funds
- Analyze and supervise financial risks for each of the funds under management for Latin America
- Develop and manage debt financing strategies, including forecasting and projection of debt requirement as well as trends in capital markets and interest rates
Skills required
- Solid years of experience garnered at a leading local or global investment bank or private equity fund in the structuring and management of debt and equity transactions in the real estate sector
- Master’s degree or higher in business administration, finance and/or real estate or another relevant field
- Superior analytical, management and negotiation skills
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
