Associate, Cash and Collateral Management recruitment

Below is a partial list of duties for this position:

• Manage daily collateral and margin call process across accounts for currencies, futures, and options

• Perform portfolio reconciliations of MTM valuation, minimum threshold amounts, and attendant collateral calls

• Work with counterparties to execute streamlined collateral call processing and resolve any differences

• Monitor cash levels and thresholds for OTC instrument investment across funds

• Provide collateral activity reporting to clients

• Participate in identification and implementation of an automated collateral platform

• Maintain master list of relevant criteria, and ensure compliance with CSA terms and applicable law, as well as client guidelines, regarding credit support obligations and collateral requirements and restrictions

• Engage in identification and execution of cash investment opportunities and processes

• Assess and improve, where necessary, processes and procedures to promote optimal operational efficiencies and assist in the implementation of straight-through business processes 

Experience and Education:

        • Minimum BA/BS with minimum 3 years financial industry or equivalent academic                         experience ; buy-side experience is preferred

• Knowledge of global equities, futures, and FX markets, in addition to market practices and regulations

• Working knowledge of cash and collateral management practices, processes, and requirements

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment to support real time and market demands

• Capable of working both independently and as an effective team member and demonstrating sound judgment

• Excellent communication and quantitative skills

• Capacity to work effectively and efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, fluid environment

• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize numerous projects

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Bloomberg API skills; knowledge of Perl, Python, and UNIX desirable
